Cornell Chicken BBQ - makes 8 pints
This recipe is the Capaccio family adaption of the 1950's version published in New York State Cooperative Extension Bulletin.
Ingredients
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. Worchester sauce
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 egg
Directions
Cook this mixture for two minutes
Cool slightly and add one egg and beat
Reserve a little for dipping sauce at the table
pour the rest over cleaned chicken parts and refrigerate overnight.
Barbeque over hot coals until it is done
basting each time you turn the chicken
